About Bryan Hardesty
Born in Hutchinson, I attended Buhler High School before graduating from Hutchinson High School and attending HCC. Throughout my early years, I gained a lot of interest in computers and technology. I built my own gaming computers, wired hand phones with power and resisters to make working landline phone circuits, and even created a bot that would play minesweeper on its own.
During college, I started my first computer repair company, Computer & Technology Solutions. After about five years, I took a full-time job working at the Hutchinson Hospital help desk in their I.S. department. During this time, I learned not just how to manage hundreds of computers, but about the design and management of data centers and critical infrastructure.
After half a decade working at the Hutchinson Hospital, I took a new job at Bluestem Communities as the IT Director & HIPAA Security Officer which also functions as the systems administrator. During my nearly 10 years with Bluestem Communities, I've gained a wealth of knowledge both on the technical side and also on the business management side (long-term strategic planning, project development, new systems implementation, employee training, etc).
